Dr Aleksandar Banic Research Medical Officer

Dr Aleksandar Banic was born in New Zealand after his family relocated from Serbia. They moved to Australia, where he finished his schooling in Mackay. Aleks then entered a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery at James Cook University in Townsville which he completed in 2022. He began practicing as a doctor at the Mackay Base Hospital and entered a research position with ORIQL in 2023. Aleks is interested in a career in orthopaedics and research.
