Dr Peter Riddlestone BMBS FRCS (Trauma & Orthopaedics)

Dr Peter Riddlestone is a UK trained Trauma and Orthopaedic surgeon who specialises in upper limb surgery. He studied Medicine at the Peninsula College of Medicine and Dentistry in the south west of England and graduated in 2009. He completed basic surgical training in Exeter and gained experience in General surgery, Plastic surgery and Trauma & Orthopaedic surgery. He was awarded membership of the Royal College of Surgeons of England in 2014.

Dr Riddlestone undertook higher surgical training in Trauma & Orthopaedics in the South West Peninsula of the UK from 2015-2022 and has Specialist Registration as an Orthopaedic Surgeon with the General Medical Council (UK). He was awarded a Fellowship of the Royal College of Surgeons for Trauma & Orthopaedic surgery in 2021. During his training he developed an early interest in upper limb surgery and is a member of the British Elbow and Shoulder Society. After completing his higher Orthopaedic training he undertook 12 months of fellowship training in upper limb surgery at the Gold Coast University Hospital in Queensland before becoming an upper limb fellow with the Orthopaedic Research Institute of Queensland in Townsville.
