Dr Tristan Simmonds Research Medical Officer

Dr Tristan Symonds is a proud local, born and raised in Townsville. Whilst completing his Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery at James Cook University he developed an interest in Orthopaedics and has been working with ORIQL since 2017.  

Together with ORIQL they have published their research in multiple international journals and presented at local, State and National Scientific Meetings. In 2022 he won the Don Tuffley award for the Best Clinical Registrar paper at the Queensland Annual Scientific Meeting.
