Comparison of gaze patterns between patients with Knee osteoarthritis and aged matched controls

Falls amongst patients with severe knee Osteoarthritis (OA) may indicate a diminished rehabilitation capacity. While it is well established that increased risk of falls is associated with poor locomotor function and inefficient gaze behaviour, few studies have examined whether patients with severe OA and restricted movement also exhibit poor gaze behaviour. Therefore, the aim of this study was to examine motor, cognitive and perceptual behaviours in individuals with OA to investigate possible association with increased risk of falls.
